Eclipse Digital Solutions Ltd are delighted to announce that we have been approved as a supply chain partner for Amey, supporting the company across their HM Prisons estate.
We have been engaged across HMP sites in Southern England for more than a decade, working with Carillion and more recently Government Facilities Services Ltd (GFSL) to provide installation, integration and maintenance of CCTV, Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems (PIDS), and control room installation and upgrades.
“Following the election of a new Labour government and the appointment of James Timpson as Minister for Prisons, the capacity and condition of the UK prison estate is a high profile issue at present,” said Eclipse’s managing director Alan Drinkwater.
“We’re excited to be working with Amey to ensure Ministry of Justice facilities are fit for purpose and maintained to the correct standard, while keeping people and assets safe and secure.”
To be chosen as a supplier, Eclipse had to undergo Amey’s rigorous selection and procurement management processes which ensure the company work with the right organisations for the long term.
Also under the spotlight was our commitment to good ethical practices and the ability to meet exacting standards in respect of safety, wellbeing, human rights, environmental stewardship, and social impact.
Daren Wood, Eclipse’s head of sales and marketing, added: “The process to become part of the Amey supply chain has presented our team with the opportunity to prove that when it comes to quality and professionalism, we will not be beaten.”
